The core is unchanged and needs no account: compare, Classic clouds and export work as in 1.0, and drawings are never uploaded to AEC DX Labs. REVIFF 2.0 adds Beta features for the review itself, which need a one-time activation. Compare, export and the app improve too.

Optional AI review
Beta features
- Activate Beta features once with your email and a 6-digit code, or with Google or Microsoft. No password. They work offline for up to 30 days, and may change or be removed later.
- ShapeFit clouds follow the shape of each change and merge overlaps, so busy drawings stay readable. Choose Balanced or Detailed.
- Review Report: every change becomes a card with before, after and difference pictures.
- Add a review decision and a note to each change, or decide many at once. Add the reviewer name and a key plan.
- Export the report to PDF with a page-by-page preview. The PDF follows the report's sort.
- Optional AI review by Claude or Gemini describes each change, writes a digest per sheet and an overall summary of the revision.
- Claude runs in the Claude Desktop app through REVIFF's local extension (Connect Claude in Settings). Gemini runs with your own Google API key.
Compare and export
- Auto-align before compare, on by default.
- Compare areas: ignore an area, or compare only inside it.
- More than one PDF or image per side.
- Overlay mode with a Before/After fade, and Added / Removed / Unchanged layers.
- A new export dialog with a page-by-page preview.

Privacy
- Drawings are never uploaded to AEC DX Labs.
- The update check and News carry no account or PC ID.
- When you're signed in, the PC name, Windows version, REVIFF version and a hashed PC ID are registered to your account.
- Beta feature use is sent once a day (which features, on which days, no files). Turn it off in Settings → News & privacy.
- Crash reports and support requests never include drawings or file names.
- Only the pictures and text of the changes you analyze go to Gemini. Claude reads the report through Claude Desktop under your own Claude account.
Fixes in the final build
- When you sign in with Google or Microsoft, your browser opens your AEC DX Labs account page, already signed in.
- Fixes to color presets, the AI overall summary, the Gemini model list, export order, and keeping your review when you reopen the report.
