Your drawings
REVIFF opens and compares your drawings on your Windows PC. Drawings are never uploaded to AEC DX Labs.
Crash reports and support requests never include drawings or file names.
Using REVIFF without an account
The core (compare, Classic clouds and export) works without an account. REVIFF checks for updates and loads News from AEC DX Labs; these requests carry no account or PC ID.
Your account and Beta features
Activating Beta features or signing in uses your AEC DX Labs account, with your email address. When you're signed in, the PC name, Windows version, REVIFF version and a hashed PC ID are registered to your account, so you can see your PCs.
Once a day, REVIFF sends which Beta features it used on which days, with no files. You can turn this off in Settings → News & privacy.
Optional AI review
AI review only runs when you use it. With Gemini, REVIFF sends the pictures and text of the changes you analyze to Google's Gemini API, with your own API key. With Claude, the Claude Desktop app reads the report through REVIFF's local extension, under your own Claude account.
This website
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Google Analytics uses cookies and receives your IP address and browser details. The site has no sign-in or forms of its own.
The feedback button opens a Google Form. What you send there is used to reply to you and to improve REVIFF.
Microsoft Store
Install, update, and Store usage details are handled through Microsoft Store systems.
